Arjun Rampal Questioned By NCB In Drug Probe: Actor Alleges The Agency Seized His Dog’s Pain Medication During The Raid- REPORT
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been probing the alleged drug nexus In Bollywood, after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s house was raided by the NCB last month, and certain medicines were seized by the NCB during the raid. Now, ABP News reports that Arjun Rampal alleged the NCB of seizing his dog’s pain medication and his sister’s anxiety pills during the raid.

According to ABP News, Arjun Rampal told NCB that one of the two types of tablets that were seized from his residence, was for his dog, which had been prescribed by a Veterinary doctor. The report further mentioned Arjun Rampal saying that the other tablet was his sister’s, and that it was prescribed by a psychiatrist from Delhi, as she had anxiety. He also reportedly made it clear that the reason for which he was summoned was baseless.

ABP News reports that NCB investigated the prescriptions and also recorded the statement of the veterinary doctor. The doctor said that the medicine was given to Arjun Rampal’s dog in June, as the dog had pain in its joints. As per the report, it was also found that the prescription of the second tablet was made by Arjun Rampal on a backdate. This was found out by the NCB after they recorded the statement of the Delhi-based psychiatrist.


Arjun Rampal was again called by the NCB, wherein he was questioned about the backdated prescription. However, the actor said that the medicine isn’t his sister’s and that he doesn’t know anything about it, reports ABP News.

Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisilaos Demetriades was arrested in October by the NCB after a raid was conducted at a resort in Lonavala. He was later granted bail by the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances court.
